When the pen tip is stored horizontally or upward there is a chance that air can enter the core (ink) making it impossible to write and can also cause ink to flow back resulting in leakage.
In order to utilise all the ink, consider the direction of the pen tip when writing and storing the pen. If the pen tip is subjected to damage the ball may be deformed or detached which can result in ink leakage and inability to continue use of the pen.
Please handle the pen with care.
